Meet the Team
The Christchurch Foot Clinic team is highly trained and specialised in every aspect of podiatry, chiropody, and foot care. We offer the most up-to-date treatments for managing and treating foot problems.
Between us we have over 40 years of experience in the field and are dedicated to our profession. We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and are members of the Royal College of Podiatry.
We’re friendly and approachable and will always take the time to understand your needs and circumstances. We will explain the options available to you and recommend the courses of action that will best suit you.
You and your feet are unique, and we want you to feel comfortable that we have your best interests at heart.
Elodie Stewart
BSc (Hons) Podiatry, MRCPod
Elodie is originally from the French part of Switzerland and fell in love with Dorset when she first visited in 1998. Elodie’s previous qualifications were in Pharmacology but retrained in Podiatry. She gained her degree from the University of Southampton after discovering a passion for helping people of all ages feel great about their feet and their general wellbeing.
Elodie loves working with people to help them feel happy, healthy, and confident and set up the Christchurch Foot Clinic in 2021.
Elodie is passionate about transforming tired, unsightly feet and nails to look great again. Nail reconstruction is her speciality.
Ivan Bristow
PhD (Dermatology), MSc (Oxon), FRCPodM
Dr Ivan Bristow is an internationally renowned podiatrist with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice, academia, and research. He covers all aspects of podiatry and has a special interest in dermatology, or skin conditions affecting the lower limb and foot.
He also lectures around the world and provides continuing professional development to healthcare professionals.
Ivan joined the practice in 2023.

Ruggero Calo
Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Biomechanics Podiatrist
Ruggero will lead our MSK podiatry services, including gait analysis, biomechanics, custom orthotic prescriptions, sports injury care and rehabilitation — while also continuing to offer routine podiatry appointments.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, he has worked across both public and private healthcare. His career has included routine podiatry and musculoskeletal roles within the NHS, private multidisciplinary clinics alongside physiotherapists and chiropractors and clinical observation with orthopaedic surgeons to refine advanced patient management strategies.
